Meta’s Reality Labs group is focused on the future of connection - recent launches include the immersive Quest 3 VR headset to the AI-powered Ray-Ban | Meta smart glasses.
While this was by far a monumental team effort and details of my involvement are confidential, here are a few insights into my time there.
Meta Ray-Ban Display is the culmination of many teams building the future of personal computing. My focus spanned UX architecture, navigating between experiences, hardware/software interactions on the wrist, and building prototypes to support research initiatives.
With such a unique opportunity and platform, I worked with many specialists and experts to optimize design systems and gesture inputs to get us closer to what Meta Ray-Ban Display has become.

Lead efforts in how gen AI (image-creation tools and agents) can enhance device customization, shared guides on demystifying prompt engineering to be intuitive and accurate, and shipped hackathon demos for internal teams
Evaluated our Meta social platforms through the lens of a single wearable OS: negotiating capabilities against technical limitations, accessibility considerations, and identifying design system needs to embrace all Meta brands
Hackathons, attending events in the metaverse, dogfooding apps and game testing across multiple Reality Labs hardware prototypes, building demos for interaction research, and learning new tools to improve UX storytelling
